Lydia (she/her/hers) is a recent graduate of Yale Divinity School where she received a Master of Divinity this spring. Lydia also holds a Bachelor degree in Human Development and Family studies from the University of New Hampshire. She most recently served as the Assistant Director at Pilgrim Lodge, her home away from home, and has worked there for the past 8 summers of her life. Lydia finds joy out in the woods of Maine, and with her family in New Hampshire where she is originally from. She seeks God in tall green trees and warm orange sunsets. She most often sees the Holy when connecting with others, finding her faith in the here and the now. She is a 25-year-old queer woman who cares deeply for the marginalized and oppressed, and believes the church plays a vital role in the justice movement. She is so thrilled to be joining the Falmouth UCC family, and is already dreaming of all of the ways community and connection will form.
